In 1988 Ben Creme's Maitreya appeared before 800 Christians in Kenya. CNN reported on the event. Working for CNN in 1988 was Marshall Masters. Masters now believes that Planet X is on the way. In 2007 Masters uploaded his video series Surviving 2012 and Planet X to You Tube. In it Masters makes a prediction that the US military would be called home from overseas to keep the peace in the US as Planet X approaches. Well, the Army now has a Homeland Brigade...20,000+.

Masters also offers Jacques Fresco and the Venus Project as a vision for the future. Fresco advocates a "resource based economy". In 2008 Peter Joseph released Zeitgeist Addendum. It also features Fresco and the Venus Project. It also features the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti. Krishnamurti was raised as the "Vessel for Maitreya" or the "World Teacher" by the theosophic society. Krishnamurti later broke with theosophy, but along comes Creme. He is saying that the real "World Teacher" is on the way. This teacher's name is Maitreya.

After his first internet film, Zeitgeist, became popular, it began to receive criticism for being a theosophic styled attack on fundamentalist Christianity, which was always seen as an adversary by theosophic luminaries like Alice Bailey and H. P. Blavatsky. It seems odd that Joseph would embrace these accusations by putting Jiddu Krishnamurti prominently in the sequel.

The original Zeitgeist movie is filled with astrological(not astronomical) ideology. It talks a lot about ages, old and new. It says that we are entering aquarius. Ben Creme talks a lot about the "Dawn of the New Age of Aquarius". And that Maitreya is coming to help us enter this "New Age of Enlightenment". Two months after Zeitgeist Addendum was released, Ben Creme announced, in the Market Watch section of the Wall Street Journal online, that a bright new star would herald the return of Maitreya. On New Year"s Eve, CNN ran commercials for the "Miracle Star". CNN, again.

On 1/4/09 History Channel/Hearst Publishing aired "Nostradamus 2012" filled with astrology and alchemy and psuedo-science, the program tries to persuade it's viewers that a cataclysm or great change is coming. It is filled with ridiculous notions of a galactic alignment, pole shift, solar storms, etc.

Just to highlight the ridiculousness of the "galactic alignment" theories, our position in comparison to "galactic center, is pretty much the same now as it will be in 2012. The History Channel admits it is a trick of perception. In the 1980's and 90's these same nostradamus "experts" were predicting cataclysm for 5/5/2000. Supposedly, due to the other planets "aligning" on the opposite side of the sun from earth.

Look at the two most outspoken "experts" on Nostradamus. Vincent Brooks is a practicing Druid, which is closely related to gnostic christian and earth worship ideology. John Hogue believes there are too many people on the planet. On his website he admits being a member of the Zero Population Growth Society. Ted Turner, the owner of CNN, believes in the overpopulation theory. He has admitted that there should be less people.

The mainstream message about 2012 seems to be...get ready to die in large numbers.

Now that's change Ted Turner and John Hogue can believe in.

Yes We Can!

  • how did you slither peter joseph's zeitgiest film and jacque fresco's resource based economy in this vid?!

  • @Gold3nStat3KiD

Peter Joseph and Fresco are a pair of New Age nitwits. They are almost as ridiculous as Bailey or Blavatsky. Fresco is running some kind of real estate scam and Peter Joseph is a hired propagandist.

  • Aquarias the age of change.

Why are we so in lockstep with ritualistic thinking and behavior?

Why can't we ditch superstition and ritualistic tradition and have CHANGE NOW?

Who gives a shit about the date and time, other than it should have been done a long time ago.

    Frustrating. Ignorance trumps.

  • @blaziermissy

Exactly, why is the History Channel, CNN, FOX, pushing this nonsense? And why does our president spew the same stupid new agey bullshit? Astrology is a joke and fascination with doomsdates is a diversion.

  • I love how much the same scene of Obama is shown.. xDD

  • He said the same shit like four times in that speech...new era, blah-blah-blah. It's lame globalist BS. He's almost as big a douche as the Bushes.

He's the bitch of international bankers and the oil industry. A complete sellout.
