  • I can tell you thtat iRex sometimes has problems with customer support, but usually things get sorted out without having to resort to legal action.

There Support Centre has moved from Germany to the Netherlands, so maybe your ticket got lost in the process? Also. if DHL lost your shipment then you have to contact them since it is their responsibility...

I hope you problem get's sorted out quickly...

  • I got it as a review sample from stareread dot com

You can buy them there directly or via eread dot co dot nz

i'd recommend waiting a little longer however, since they still have not released a new firmware and the current one is pretty buggy, especially when it comes to text-formatting.

    Visit mobileread for more details.

  • yeah, 'cause apple have never used closed formats for their files...

  • What you think is name-calling is a simple statement of observed fact. He DID tell me I was not to post, and he DID ignore my reasons. That does seem to be a bit arrogant, doesn't it?

As for the "little twerp" part, I actually have no idea of his size. The "little" refers to mental capacity. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I should have been more accurate, my bad.

  • To be fair, I have to say that iRex HAS promised me a refund. It's been well over a week now and I haven't seen it even though electronic bank transfers take hours at the most. Even so, I have hope that this will happen.

Still, the Iliad is over priced and not at all reliable. There are other, better, cheaper, ebook readers. When Apple releases their iPad in a few weeks, we'll see one that does all ebooks, video, mp3, and more.

  • Thank you for this criticism.

I will NOT be buying an iRex iLiad, ever!

    What a piece of crap!

  • What you think is name-calling is actually a simple statement of observed facts.

Also, what you think is spamming is only your opinion. Has anyone anywhere ever indicated they care what you think?

  • Sorry, no excuse makes spamming okay in my eyes. Not even name calling (that's supposed to be an argument?)

  • Oh yeah, posting a message on fewer than a dozen places "crapped up the rest of the internet" You idiot, don't read them if you don't like it.

Who do you think you are telling anyone what to do? I know, an arrogant little twerp that thinks he's a net nazi.

  • Thanks for crapping up the rest of the Internet just because you personally had a problem.

  • You apparently cannot comprehend what you read. A person of normal intelligence would understand that this is the way I have of putting pressure on iRex to do only what they promised. FYI, it did work.

  • For you arrogant people that think this is spam, it is the only way I had of getting iRex to react and respond to my problem. If they had done what they had promised in their warranty and advertising, none of this would have been necessary.

As it is, iy worked and the problem, after months of efforts looks like it will be resolved soon.
