This video is the making of two etching presses made almost entirly from scrap farm machinery . the smaller 20cm rollers, the shaft , brass bushes and up and down adjustments are off a hay elevator, the sides cut from a mold for making cement slabs. the larger 33cm roller I brought the bearings and housings and a piece of pipe the rest is made from scrap.

  • Your press looks great.I am building my own press using a box section frame with the same type of bearing carrier,25mm spindles with 95 mm rollers.these came free from a log conveyer system.I hope mine looks as good as yours.
