When I arrived to catch a hanging swarm I could see a cloud of bees moving across the yard. Perhaps the queen didn't have the strength to make it and landed on some landscape rocks surrounded by a small entourage. I caged her and the cloud quickly retreated back to a nearby bee tree. She looked healthy but kinda big to be flying, maybe she had not stopped egg laying soon enough.

  • i dont get it where is the queen bee?!

  • @mizztrisky When you first see the bees on the rock at :09 she is on the bottom of the rock. She climbs around the right edge of the rock, crossing over the top at :17. Her body is longer than the worker bees and the stripes are not as noticeable.
