Marriage Equality. It's Time.

It's 2011. In Many ways, Australia is one of the greatest countries in the world, yet in others, we are miles behind.

This is my contribution to the "I Expect Better" campaign. it's 2011 people, it's time to end the legal discrimination.. It's time for full marriage equality.

I'm a 16 year old white female and I am straight. I am a Christian but I totally agree with every word you said. Love is love regardless of gender, race, religion, etc. Nobody should be denied the opportunity to marry who they love. You are an amazing person and you deserve the very best. Love is the strongest force on earth and I hope that one day discrimination against loving couples will end.

@bakmouth You need to remove the idea from your head that God created marriage. Has it occured to you that not everyone is religious? Civil Marriage is a government institution and religious institutions aren't oligated to perform same-sex unions. You can't deny two adults from marrying simply because they are not different genders. Don't you see how that it is blatant discrimination? Seriously!

@MsOkamaQueen Well, its a good thing I dont believe in the holy bible and that I have never particiated in eating lobster, planting different crops in the same field or giving somebody a proud look. I think you made a mistake, I support gay marriage as I am gay myself. Dont let my username fool you, I am athiest and made this user name sarcasticly. I dont understand why you replied such a hateful message to someone that clearly supports all gay rights.
