  • You can thank God for the lightning, but it was up to me to record it and get it up on youtube :)

  • Dude! AWESOME storm! If I may make an experienced suggestion? A tripod would help, no matter where you are. Much less disorienting to you and the viewers. Good luck this coming season!

  • Thanks, but I had misgivings using a tripod in a lightning storm. I did my best to hold the camera still and get the shot without getting rain on the lens.

  • okay lemme get this str8...u live in a trailer (aka METAL BLDG) lol AND ur OUTSIDE in a lightening storm.....crazzzzzzzzzzy:P LOL

u r a MUCH braver soul than me LOL

  • Yes, I was thinking about that. But, I just HAD! to get this unbelievable weather.

  • I saw that "unbelievable" lightning storm too on August 28, 2008 which then I was a newbie to Mesa, AZ. I once thought that was the normal occurrence for the summertime in AZ. It was the most spectacular (firework) display of spider-web lightning I had ever seen in my entire life since I was used to seeing only the cloud-to-ground lightning bolt type in FL. The thunderclap sounded very weird too as it echo between the mountains' valley.I have yet to see another storm like it since August 2008.

  • Thank God for the internet and You Tube, so we can all enjoy this amazing spectacle!! :)

  • that was amazing footage man.... 5 stars for sure! great job! must have been quite a show to be there in person

  • Well, youve said you put all the 3 parts on YouTube and i'm glad you did, man, it was unbelieveble to see such a lightningshow like this, many, many thanks for uploading these 3 parts, they are all added to my fav list and all 3 have a 5 star rate given by me, again, a masterpiece. Realy Wonderfull.

  • WOW .... shock and awe! Holy cow, that's amazing. Best lightning display I ever saw here in North Central Texas was June 14, 2001. No camera to record, but mind took many pictures. One bolt measured at 118 miles long - seen from DFW to Waco. Whole sky fractured! Lightning my favorite element of Storm. And there's a bunch in here - 10 more stars and adding to Lightning playlist (1st part in my favorites). Well done!
