  • I was going to ask the same question as Thebodells.. where are the drainage tubes?

Just looking at your tummy makes me cringe.. God speed to you hon! I hope it heals quickly so you dont have to bare too much pain!

  • @angelztearz72 Yeah I didnt get drain tubethis time because the skin is so tight they are going to go in with a needle on my next appt - Thursday, and pull some fluids. It does look pretty terrible right now but I am only 9 days post op as of today, so it has a LOT of swelling and a LOT of fluid built up, but after my next appt I will be two weeks post op and I will make another video - it takes something like 6 wks to 6 months for the swelling to go down... yuk!

  • Thanks for sharing Jess, wishing you a speedy recovery. Quick question, with this surgery did you have drainage tubes?

  • @Thebodells Because it was pulled so tight they are puling the fluids by needle. Sounds worse than it is. Actually since the drains are out it will heal faster, so this is a good thing lol. It looks horrific but every day it gets better and in about 6 weeks it shouldlook a little flatter and within 6 months it should look much better than it does. Thank you for the wishes!!!!

  • Bless your heart! One of my really good friends had the gastric bypass & after she had her 2nd child, she had a breast reduction & tummy tuck while her husband was in Afghanistan. She had an awful time with it b/c she had to deal with a staph infection & multiple complications. :( She's much better now & had similar swelling but everything looks so much better now! :)

  • those stitches look so AWESOME!!!!!

  • God dam dude ! I hope you are feeling better soon! Im only 4 week post op but i was looking forward to plastics . Hang in there hun

  • wtf thats mess up

  • do u think someone who is 17 or 18 and 5'3 and loses 128 pounds will have loose skin?

  • I hope your recovery is going well and your swelling is getting better! I am having my surgery in two and a half weeks after losing 130 pounds and can't wait but I have been watching people's video diaries on here to help me prepare myself. Thank you so much for putting this up so I can realistically know what to expect and what can happen.
