Jason, great video. At one point you said you might make an advanced Fusion Table tutorial if there were enough requests. Consider this a request. Trying to figure out how to dump a table into a list, work with it locally and then write it back. I would use TinyWebDB but I need the data I enter to be viewable remotely online in a nice clean form and I'm not sure how to get the data from a TinyWebDB into, say, a Google spreadsheet... so perhaps that's 2 requests.
So how would i go about pulling just the value from a cell, and not the column also. For example, at the end you pulled the title, but it showed up as "Title (new line) App Inventor..) How would you just grab the title and title alone?
This is fantastic and showed me exactly what i was needing to learn from this. Puts everything into perspective from having no databasing experience outside of some basic Access tutorials.
jwtyler - good on ya for making this tutorial. One that might be good as a followup is Fusion Tables to TinyDB or TinyWebDB - i'm having a dickens of a time getting it sorted out :(
Please give us the advanced tutorial on fusion tables that you mentioned.
