if people care that much about the art style of a game to not play it despite being fun, they dont deserve to play it. this culture of "if the graphics aint good, it sucks" has killed the game industry.

@ArdentArden A good example of how it's the art direction more than the graphics that make a game look better overall, even though graphics can play an important role in how good a game looks.

I checked out the English version to see what the voice acting was like, and I'm definitely getting the PS1 version.

I prefer the whole 2D on 3D graphics over the full 3D effect.

@CrimsonElite101 I never played the wii version, but the art direction and look was a lot better for the psx version ironically and the voice acting made the characters seem a lot less genuine and harder to empathize with in the wii version. Also I hear the gameplay was more balanced in the original.

I loved this game to death!

I never actually owned it but I rented it nearly religiously.

Only trouble I had was that I didn't know how to save, so I never finished it!

I here that they rereleased it for the wii, but I'd prefer to play this on the PS1 again if I can!
