If you are looking for failures, you will see failures. If you are looking for successes, you will see successes. What about the Empire State Building, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel System? These all seem to be doing just fine. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples as well. What evidence do you have that they are arrogantly ignoring safety standards? If there is evidence of this out there, post it, don't just put down innovation.

Just think of how many moving parts(i.e things that can break) there would have to be for this to even be physically possible. talk about maintenance

This is real dear friend...a practical example under construction is the ROTATING TOWERS in abu dhabi(UAE). the tower rotates on its axis.evry 45 minutes ur window has a new view. googl eit u will find it.the architect is a brazilian.
