@AnthonyUK So this one is the second episode, hence "Return of the
Deadly Dustbins"? It was the first episode (of which no copy seems to exist) which had the phone box queue. Right. Wish they'd release a DVD of EBC1 - "Emu Trek", "The Emudin Line", "Open Emuversity", "The Bionic Emu", and, of course, Billy Dainty skiing and mountain climbing with a box of worms, "All because the Lady Emu loves worms!" Brilliant. Repeat, repeat, repeat!

The ending you refer to is this 2nd episode(not on here for some reason) where they DO indeed come back to the phonebox find somebody repairing it and getting shoved to the back of the queue by angry people wanting to use it,on the first episode not this they manage to make a clean getaway from the dustbins and escape.

@AnthonyUK Didn't it end with Rod and Emu going back to the Tardis and there's a bloke inside using the phone and a queue waiting to use it? Our "heroes" try to get in and keep getting pushed to the back of the queue by the angry people in the line. "Crackerjack" did several DW spoofs, as I recall.

Thanks AnthonyUK. Would love to see that again, too!

@flametop93 The camera shot showed the foil over the gramophone speaker and the Dr.Emu logo over it then it pans to Rod Hull and Emu listening to the theme-tune!

Nice work for posting this , WOTW.

Yes, didn't they put the tin foil disc on it and jam the camera lens over it? Or was it Rod and Emu just turning it round really badly like a steering wheel for a laugh?
Great days !

Glad you mentioned that imperialpod, when that scene came on in the very first Eccleston series, I remember thinking the same !

I like the dustbins disguised as Daleks saying "Rubbish! Rubbish! Rubbish! Rubbish!"
LOL, they actually nicked this idea for the Eccleston series.
Mickey, the black guy, got eaten by a recycling bin in one of the episodes.
Rod Hull, comedian and Dr Who fortune teller.

I remember the first Dr.Emu episode;it features Rod Hull and Emu in front of a windup gramophone listening to the Dr.Who theme!
