I would have the 71 Nebraska team, and the 72 USC team almost tied you could flip a coin, the next 3 teams after that the 71 Oak. team after all the 71 Neb. team just about them, also I believe Alabama in the 80's had a few teams that I would rate just below the Neb., and USC teams I just mentioned.

lol only team that could compete with nebraska was 95 team? lol had oklahomas 2 future all pro defensive tackles (derland moore, sugar bear hamilton) been able to play there is a great possibility nebraska loses this game... as it was nebraska barely won even with the punt return that featured 2 blocks in the back at the nebraska 45 and at the oklahoma 33 that werent called. with the 2 dts i doubt nebraska keeps the ball for 7 minutes its last drive.
