I recently got several new trumpet and cornet mouthpieces and love them all because while to buy a new trumpet is too expensive you can get different sounds with various mouthpieces,like I got Al Hirt Jet Tone mouthpiece which seem to be avaailable on eBay and at less than$30.00. I even got a Legacy 1 and one half C trumpet mouthpiece on amazon.com. for $10.00! I find wide rim mouthpiece better for me 1 or 3 no problem because I play about every day.

mouthpices is important in playing. Myself I have a Yamaha 11C-7c and a Holton also 7C.

Flugelhorn is standard 11F4. In my Trumpet bag also a Dizzy Gillespie, no number with a very small cup and not deep, this one is from 1952, silver plate is gone so i play very seldom on that one.

my Holton is a bit over beginner trumpet as experts told me, I think it is better than so,

You and I agree on that.

I mostley play traditional or my own tunes these days on You Tube, if I play standard written tunes YouTube have terminate me recent years.
