  • does any one no what bass he's playing???

  • In my opinion, whenever i set up my bass settings on my amplifier, and you want a sound that will be heard, but not overpowering everyone else, u usually want to boost your mid range up, and try and keep all the bass and treble and contour somewhere around the middle. try it :], hope it helps

  • one of our sound engineers mixes my tone at the board. i would suggest that you find someone who you think has good tone, some one you know, that you can ask questions to personally. it'll be easier for you to sit down and use trial and error with a person as opposed to over the internet. they'll be able to help you find tone that sounds good, nd that you like.

  • if i use my church's bass, i'll cut some of the mids on the bass. then i'll add some to the amp head. when we play during one of our celebrations we don't use amps. i have a boss tu-2 tuner. then i use an odb3 (boss bass overdrive.) i turn the drive all the way down. i use it as a boost/2band eq. i turn the volume to 12 o clock, the gain all the way up, the treble to about 2 - 2.5, and he bass all the way up. next is a dd6 digital delay used with my rv5 reverb for swells. then to a di box.

  • tone is subjective. most would can agree that certain bassists have great tone, but it really depends on your gear. on most amps with only 3 eg knobs, i'll cut the mids (not entirely, but a lot.) i like the really deep fat sound. i'm using an fender custom artist series jazz bass (with a p bass neck and pickups. awesome look and feel.) the major problem sprouts from the lack of tone control on the bass. i have a volume pot, but no tone pots.

  • Hii!! can u give me tips on how to equalize my bass amp.. more likely i always mess up on my settings. help me please...

  • thanks for uploading but...

what's up with the deodorant thingy?

  • Ok Tenni,I know it's been a while since you've posted a bass blog, but you should really post a video for "The Time Has Come". That bass line is killing me :)
