The price of oil has come down, but food prices in Malaysia are still a great strain on the pockets of many people. The Star online interviewed The Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad, on the topic and also interviewed members of the public at Petaling Jaya Old Town Market to gauge the effects of food prices on their lives. Camilla Ibrahim reports.
