Skyranger Build

Skyranger timelaps movie. I had web camera taking one frame every minute of the build. Also cut down some of the time when nothing was visible in the build process.
So this is really how to build a airplane from kit, from boxes to ready to fly plane.
Skyranger is one of the best aircrafts to fly and build.

Greatings from Portugal. Great Great plane. I've learnt to fly in one those. Very forgiving and handles very nice. but be very carefull with the throtle cable. it tends to come loose. it happened to me. I would have one anytime if i could afford it..

This video is when I built my first Skyranger in 2003. Since then I have built 2 more, one in 2006 with Rotax 912ULS 100hp, In flight adjustable IVO prop and more nice things. Also I built one in Torino Italy as a project of building aircraft in front of public( done in center square of Torino) in June 2009.

Great plane to build and fly.

How long did it take to build?

It takes about 160-200 working hours to build one. Of course you can take more time while "finishing" some fancy stuff.

I will build one at the World Air Games in Torino june 2009.

The build will start Saturday June 7th and the Skyranger will fly no later than Saturday June 13th, just seven days later :-)
