Barilla "Meal for a Meal" - Columbus Circle, NYC

An integral part of Italian food and culture is sharing the table with family and friends. See how Barilla gave New Yorkers the opportunity to do just that as the Barilla Pasta Truck took Manhattan by storm - handing out Spaghettata To-Go dinner kits in Union Square.

Each kit included a box of Barilla spaghetti, fresh greens, a jar of Barilla sauce, exclusive Academia Barilla olive oil and vinegar and two tickets to Casa Barilla™, a 4 day celebration of Italian food and culture in Central Park from September 13-16. For every dinner kit distributed, Barilla donated $1 to the Food Bank For New York City - a total of $5,000. That means 25,000 meals to people in need.
