Sgt. Victor Medina, a decorated combat veteran who fought to receive treatment at Texas' Fort Bliss after suffering a brain injury during a roadside blast in Iraq last June. Since the explosion, Medina has had trouble reading, comprehending and doing simple tasks. "It's struggle after struggle."

Yeah just follow orders. And nazzi soldiers also were just following orders. They blindly believed in Hitler I never acted as a tough guy because i'm just a regular guy. I'm not from america but the soldiers did fight for their country. I really feel sorry for him and people like him. I have diabetes and i get a compensation from the government. And i would gladly give up my compensation for people with injuries like these. Hope he gets better and will be able to live a happy life with his wife.

Injuries don't puzzle me what puzzles me is the high number of injuries and PDS, claims. Our army is the best, we don't fight on our soil, it is the most sophisticated army, best generals, best strategists, yet the stress syndrome are sky high, after the WW2 I never heard one single claim and Europe was flattened, destroyed, most people recouped recovered, rebuild life vent on. I do not understand how one war creates so much PDS claimers and the other war does not create one. I'm puzzled.
