if our ancestors hadnt taken over the planet with agriculture and civilization the chimps probably could have done it. a few of the smarter ones start breeding and then bam! its religion, nukes, war, and pyramids, for the chimps!

This means that in a few hundred (maybe 250) years, chimps will be born domesticated, and instead of following their instinct of destroying, they will create.

@Teekond it makes me sad to see this top comment. yes we did evolve from non human apes. we still are apes though. the world "ape" refers to all species in the taxonomic superfamily hominoidae. our taxinomic family is hominidae or great apes. it includes humans, chimps, bonobos, the 2 gorilla species, and the 2 orangutan species. WE DID NOT EVOLVE FROM CHIMPS is a better statement to say. we had a common ancestor with chimps 6 million yrs ago. which us and chimps both evolved from.
