  • seriously the man is dead on....listen up its really about shopping and finding the sound that works for you and the application you are using it for I use Mesa Boogie tube - line 6 solid state spider 2 and Fender tube

  • Tube amps all the way :D

  • @wickedgame26 I have a line 6 spider 3 75 and its better tone then i got out of a few marshalls

  • MESA DUAL RECTIFIER for bedroom, band, and live

  • mesa boogie dawg.

  • There is no comparison between a tube amp and a solid state amp when it comes to harmonic frequency response and amplification. The harmonic response of the tube amp is much better than that of the solid state amp, hence the warmer sound but as the guy on the video says and as Hawkon33 said it's all in the ears and the budget and how you're going to use your amplifier.

  • I think that the new Vox amps are great for both live and practice situations. the VT series. All have tube preamps which give it that great tube sound without having to be expensive. Then when your practicing they have a knob on back to change the wattage that's coming from the amp so you can turn it up to get the sound without having it extremely loud. Great from blues/metal and cleans. My favs in it's price range!

  • best small tube amp on the market is an orange tiny terror combo.

  • Nope, most practice amps have distortion and clean, some also just have distortion and some just have clean. Also, there are amps that require a channel head for effects, like for instance a Marshall stack.

  • I need Help? i'm stuck between a fender fm100h head and a behringer GMX1200h head. The behringer has and effetcs loop but does it come witha footswitch? And what cab should i get staying within 250 for the cab an ibanez or a bugera? Help!!!! Please

iplay rock and blues and am stuck, which sounds better and which cab and amp is better? help somone
