The Hagglunds BV206 All Terrain Vehicle is one of the most capable and versatile amphibious vehicles available today. It effortlessly handles widely varying terrains and climates ranging from the swamps of Florida to the bitter-cold winter tundra of Alaska. It is also highly customizable making it ideal for specialized applications be it search and rescue, mining and exploration, or getting to your remote winter cabin.

  • The vehicle is fully amphibious so depth is not really an issue. A lot of emergency services do use this machine because it is relatively fast, and, with rubber tracks, can drive on bare road without damaging it, but they are certainly not the only ones who use it. There are a lot people and companies who use this machine for various kind of remote access needs including pipeline companies, mining companies, and those who just want a really capable off-road vehicle that can carry a lot of people

  • No. Both cabs are powered. The cabs are connected by an articulation assembly that is hydraulically powered which enables the machine to turn. This assembly also contains a drive shaft that transfers power from the engine in the front cab to the rear tracks.
