How to miss a coach coming around a 180 turn riding R1200GS in the Alps. Low speed, but tight.

Early on during a BMW Motorrad Tour & not that close really, and I was only just moving, but just missing the coach in the Alps on my GS was all part of fun ;-). Taken with GoPro Hero HD.

I see lots of comments blaming the rider (and the rider is to blame for part of the danger here, dont get me wrong) but that bus is going waaay too fast considering it's size and that it's going across both lanes.
There is no safety thinking on the bus drivers part and had he hit the bike it would have been the bus drivers resposibility. He could have been imprisoned for it!
The bus has no reason to RACE the bend like that, infact it only makes it more likely to fail the turn going THAT fast.

yeah, I don't pull over, cry and spend ten minutes reflecting on every near miss that ever happens to me, you look out for this sort of stuff but some things just happen.

@geonerd How was it the riders screw up when the coach comes round the corner on the opposite side of the road, the coach driver should have waited until it was safe to cross the white line or chose a different route

'Woo Hoo' happens, but good riders learn from their mistakes. It doesn't sound like you even see this as a screw-up on your part. As someone else said, it won't be 'fun' when the next bus splatters you all over the road.
