While i agree that there is a lot of moral ambiguousness going on in this movie that really does make you think and that the movie has it's scary moments i just don't like it because there is a LOT of things that is just plain stupid. The outbreak happens just because the plot demands it and many of the characters choices are just plain dumb. Now i won't spoil anything but i say just this: The husbands kiss and the sisters choice at the end. 'Nuff said..

It does have the sub-narative of the US occupying and setting up a police state on foreign soil, and under that authority there are mistakes made in political arrogance...It's not literally about The Iraq War but if you didn't see how obvious that plotting was I don't know what to say to you. must agree with Cyrus...
