The anti-christ comes in his own name, not the name Jesus. Jesus Himself said that He came in His own name and they rejected Him but that another would come in his own name and him they would accept. So no, people do not think this is Jesus but they do think he is the promised 'Christ' or 'Messiah'. Many will be deceived and many will cave because they are cowards.

I look for truth where ever I find it
I don't see it as dabbling in witchcraft.
I see it as research and trying to connect the dots, If you stick only to the bible you
are missing alot of truth, the bible is only one of may books containting stories about history, I also like to add in science. The bible says to seek the truth so thats what I do, from as many sources as possible.

I'm pretty sure we're all gonna be here when armageddon comes. The tribulation is going to be the period where all who follow God will have to make a choice , to either continue follow him and chance suffering on earth for a short while, or abandon God and join the anti-christ. If everyone is raptured at the start then theres no point in the tribulation. The whole thing is a test to see whether your worthy or not to join God, to seed out the true believers, to seperate the wheat from the tares.
