Wonder Boy in Monster World #01 - The Myconid

This was supposed to be a Let's Play, but I ended up losing my voice while recording LPs I had to scrap because of technical difficulties. So, I just went and recorded a part of the game as a normal walkthrough later that day.

Tips for this video:
BUY THE DAMN LEATHER SHOES! Saves you a bit of health in the jungle part and you don't have to waste a perfectly good elixir or a pricey potion for no reason.
TALK TO THE GIRL WHO OWNS THE OCARINA! The ocarina doesn't appear in the dungeon before she's mentioned losing it.
After acquiring the ocarina, the girl is the one who teaches you the right tunes to open the doors, but in case you don't want to go back:
