Extending unemployment benefits isn't a partisan issue and neither is our country's impending fiscal crisis. The Senate needs to extend these benefits by paying for them now, and then we can take the first step in the right direction toward fiscal responsibility and economic recovery. Children born w/ $100,000 dollars in debt will have worse problems in the future if America becomes impoverished now.
Children born with debt are starving now and
parents can't feed them or pay for housing.
I thought it was a weak hook to hang your hat on by mentioning the party's flaccid plan for unemployment extensions.
This may be the biggest human interest problem since Rosa Parks refused to sit in the back of the buss. However this is were myself and many feel congress has left us.

Hey, John, why don't you tell everyone your party's great plan for unemployment extensions? You know the one...the one that extended benefits for an entire month? You remember that one you guys offered John? The one that doesn't do anything to address the problem? No? I didn't think so.
Gee, I can't imagine why nobody wanted the Republican option. A whole FOUR CHECKS for starving families! We are all simply overcome with amazement at your party's generosity, John. Those damned Dems!
