Miss it! When I was at Hocking Tech it was so common to see 33 that I didn't realize how important it was. They had another steam loco that was inoperable behind the car shops
As a kid I got to see this beautiful machine every weekend. Memories i'll never forget. From the old station it would leave towards Doanville and cross Rt. 33 then pass grandma's house immediately before crossing Elm Rock Road. I'd go out her back door & watch it pass within 20 feet of the house. Good times, breathing in smoke & steam as she passed...
David Dupler is responsible for alot of excellent photography and video.Without his work, the B&O/Chessie at Athens to Stewart would be little more than a memory.Take lots of pictures now....tomorrow it may all be gone......

What a brutish machine! Is this the same 0-8-0 #33 that is currently at Ohio Central?
