@rafagoto Very good comment. The ones that are putting this video and other Kaps videos have no real clue about magic or entertainment. That is a fact. I doubt any or them could even work the Ball&Vase or. Clippo, or a coin slide with even a hint of showmanship or being able to do it without exposing the method. It's sad really but it is the way that a good many of these people are.

It´s a shame to see how some teenagers talk really bad about Kaps without knowing who he is, without having three Grand Prix FISM prizes and, most importantly, without having the guts to perform an act of this quality in front of thousands of people.Kaps travelled around the world performing for queens and kings and he even performed for the great Charlie Chaplin.I hope that the users that were saying those harsh comments are preparing an act for FISM to get the Grand Prix.But really I doubt it.

@JohnnySilver78 Look, discussing methods for effects is common in magic clubs. This is just like a magic club here. There are only people with magical knowledge posting. I don't think old Bongers would have the personality for Britains Got Talent or any modern show. They would soon be pressing their red X-s and boot his arse off the show. Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden would peeing themselves laughing about how bad this guy was with his wonky dutch accent and plinky plonky backing music!!

@CaraBrimleyRules why are you talking to me again. Dont be a stalker. As I told you before,800 posts just means you talk alot. You also reveal how effects are done, the number 1 rule breaker in magic. Kaps is a legend. No you havent done 100's of shows,you dont have to lie. Kaps was good not because of his tricks but because of his personality. You would understand showmanship, because you have no personality.

@JohnnySilver78 Nothing exceptional here.
When it comes to reviewing Kaps aka Bram Bongers, many are guilty of the "emperors new clothes syndrome". They say he is good because that's what everyone else says. However, it takes a fresh pair of eyes to reveal the truth. This act would not stand up today.
I've been criticised on a thread on the magic cafe for daring to challenge Bonger's work. Little do they know I am a respected poster on there with over 800 posts and have done 100's of shows.

@CaraBrimleyRules Im not stalking you, you are everywhere. TROLLING

@JohnnySilver78 Look, don't stalk me, I'm helping magic students get a handle on this act. It's all in the interest of studying our art.

@CaraBrimleyRules omg-you on this video too! GET A LIFE !!!!!!!

@RS1963 He puts it in his coat tails, not his back pocket. Lame! All this is in modern magic by Hoffman, Angelo John Lewis, Very lame performance, in any case who wears profondes and pochettes and tails nowadays mmwwhahahaha. OMFG Me: 1 Kaps: 0 !
The first bit is just a sprung vanishing cane. He coils it up and then puts it in his pocket at 0:31 when he takes the salt out. That's why he fiddles around for a second. he has to ditch the cane and pick up the salt.
Me:2 Bram Bongers(Kaps): 0
There were better technicians, there were more creative magicians but there was never a better artist than The Great Fred Kaps. No one could perform like him - no one before and no one after. You'll always be missed. R.I.P.

It is so entertaining that some viewers make so many comments about how they KNOW how everthing is done. But when confronted erase there past retorts. Just enjoy the beauty of perfection of an art, don't throw in stupid comments. Asking how and why is okay, but to think you can figure out what took decades for someone to learn in a one minute viewing is........well you get the point...just enjoy......it's all good. Peace
