  • Cool approach to the tunnel idea. How long was it, and what did you use for a bridge? Looks like a painter's scaffold.

    Also, what did you use to connect the various PVC rings together? Nice work!

    My bridge was 24' long and we used it for the two 10' tunnels. The bridge is constructed entirely of wood, thus the necessary center support between the two tunnels.

    The pvs rings were attached to each other using bamboo strips. This year I'm going to try pvc connectors.

  • Yes, we used 1/2" pvc. The tunnels were up for about 6 weeks and the tubing had some "egging" to it because of the weight. This year we're going to try 3/4" pvc in hopes that the egging won't be as bad, however, we'll have to see if the motor can still operate with the added weight.
