Deaf Children are victim and abused by parents

I am victim of my father who did not know ASL while I grew up and had abused in oral school for the deaf and home situation. It's barrier of communication between me and my father. Thank to DBC who successed with the development of the deaf babies to learn ASL.

You can sue your father for abuse. What he did was inexcusable wrong! Make sure that your lawyers do right until he is put into a prison.

@Salticid68 Hi Salticid, my dad passed away 2 years ago. I had to forgive him what he did to me during my childhood. My childhood is processing in getting a healing!

@stantheman781 he had a longtime sick - pneumonia, Congestive Heart Failure, respiratory failure, and others. He was 80 years old to die on his bed under hospice care.

Amazing story, I do agress abuse can be in general due to lack of communication. Very tough case, sad to see kids being abuse.

I agree with you. I found some deafies who are victim of the hearing parents' abusing! That is sad for hearing people won't take ASL Class!

My parent didn't learn enough full sign language. I asked my mother, why not learn sigh language then she said not time through busy. That wrong and hurt to me without sign language that lack communication and afraid of my father. Parent suppose to learn sign language for deaf child make happy and more love.

I have same before my father abused my physical that was bad through lack communications so my hurt. My father was passed away after he gave my brothers, sister and my mother for wills beneficary then he won't give me that nothing of beneficiary and mother said, I leave my parent to moved with my boyfriend. Before I was more unhappy after I moved with boyfriend then I was very happy but I have all right more safe. I don't trust my mother never call police for child protection.

i didnt learn to sign tell i was 15 i moved to the usa i was born in country where being blind deaf and other disibalty is sin and punshment from god. so i know when she was child alot time she must have got mad and upset when they didnt understand her i sure did. there was no school for disabled when i was going up.

I have to be honest, I didn't and can't watch the video right now because when I read the title it upset me so much. It kills me to think of a parent abusing their child period but this is a special kind of low and I hope there is a special place in hell for people like that. All my hope and wishes for a future filled with love to the victims.
