@IdiotsGon3Wild their high level cameras have way better focus. But you're right, I have to manually focus my T1i way too often.

it's because of your lense not all the lenses have an aperture like 1,4 ore 2.8

My lens aperture is no bigger than f4 or f4.5 but I get good results being the subject seperated from the background for some distance. Some photographer s consider f8 or f11 the sweet spot for sharp focus.
