I don't live near any significant mountains, but these people have earned my unqualified support for such an excellent, economically viable, "best use" of this land. We need to support these folks NOW!!!
I am sick to death of the ignorance that passes for so-called business decisions. Instead of Tea Parties we should be having "green earth parties. This presentation proves that real, sustainable alternatives exist. Don't be fooled by the money crowd.

Thanks for the wonderful video. We should all show this to our Senators and Congresspeople and insist that they support the Clean Water Protection Act (House Bill) and the Appalacian Restoration Act (Senate). Blowing up mountains for coal is a sin!

I took 14 people to hike Coal River Mountain and meet Lorelei in May. Coal River Mountain is so alive. Mountain Top Removal is Mutilation and an abuse of what God has give us to use.

SAVE COAL RIVER MOUNTAIN! Massey Energy has already began blasting away this mountain. Help us in Appalachia end the fascist Coal Industry's regime. COAL RIVER WIND NOW!
Google "coal river wind" or "coal river mountain watch" to find out how you can lend your voice to save Coal River Mountain and erect the Wind Farm. Hurry, time is of the essence!

Wow, very impressive. Great job to all the folks at Appalachian Voices, Coal River Mountain Watch and Google who invested hours and hours of time to create this amazing video. The blast footage video embedded within the larger video, both with stop, start and pause features is particularly impressive from a technical, programming aspect. You broke new ground here, congrats. Geeks rule, particularly environmentally conscience geek. Hats off to everyone who worked on the project. Rock stars, all.

I support Coal River Wind.

This is very well put together (I think someone else said this as well) and obviously has been well thought through. I live near Appalachia and went to school in it, and have a deep and profound love for the place and its people. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I'll do what I can to spread the word!
