My first IG

This must be the must frustrating fig so far also is such FAIL for me:/
Painted separate all gear, head hands +gun. That never gonna happened again.
The best part of this is base work. I really mean that =]


Green - Instead Catachan green used Vallejo 70896 looks almost same to me =] Cat green is one that i haven't got in my rack. Very pleased with Vallejo paint.

Insignia - by the look of it insignia are as close as they can be to edge of shoulder pads Cadian Gate are on the center of pad. Tactical number is as things are and that small detail looks nice.
Base- THE BEST PART OF THIS FIG !!! Static grass , some old brushes find use, roots out of my kitchen plant (mint not weed) and some of woodland scenic BUT that will be cool if use some tiny ,tiny bits pan scourer + dry brush

Gear - With IG I don't really like that NYPD look of gear of grunts(look on IG codex)I reserve leather for higher ranks and all below should really use cotton-synthetic-blessed stuff?
I go with green now(maybe next time NYPD style:) They are Grunts yeah?

Skin Tone - Tallarn Flesh+ Ogryn Wash + some trace of dwarf flesh .Eyes? Maybe next time.
