My intention was to compliment his kick and to imply that even Michael Phelps couldn't break world records relying on just his awesome kick (his primary propulsion comes from his arms). It will take six to eight weeks of training to develop the muscle memory needed to create a different stroke pattern. You really need a coach to look at your stroke so they can give you some constructive tips. Send a video to United States Masters Forum so you can get some suggestions. If I were you I'd watch some videos of some current world record holders and see which stroke pattern suits you best. Good Luck!!
