Visit www.thepleasers.co.uk Bob Geldof said of The Pleasers "If the Jam were The Who, The Stranglers The Doors: and we were The Stones, why can't these guys be The Beatles. www.myspace.com/thepleasersmusic I never wanted an M.B.E. anyway"! If you missed The Pleasers last year slap your wrists, its easy to get the wrong idea about the band, easy to hate them before you've seen them, its time to open you're ears to a new scene. N.M.E.

  • This is a great live performance by a well rehearsed band. Great original material prevails throughout thier videos posted here, and thier version of "The Kids are Alright" challenges the original. This 70's band should re-unite. They would be welcome here in Nashville.

  • Hi B17 from Nashville

I have passed on your very nice comment on to The Pleasers. They are thinking about getting together again in the new year to do a couple of gigs in London due to the demand and I'm sure would love to play in Nashville if it could be arranged!

    Speak again soon, regards Rizlatune.

  • We flew from Los Angeles to Liverpool to see The Pleasers at the International Pop Overthrow festival in 2003...and The Pleasers canceled!

  • Hi, they didn't cancel, The Pleasers were never confirmed a place at the festival, cos I know they would have loved to have performed there. I'm sure if the right gig came along they would seriously consider it, even just for fun...
