@gunryobassist Ok so victor wooten DOES have a JUST bass record, so Evan is NOT the only one. So once again, whats special about his pure bass album, when its NOT orginal, shits been done man. No one is saying Evan doesn't deserve credit, its a great album and I have both faceless albums, but lets not go overboard here stating originality when his concept is one thats been done.

Whole band isn't what i'm saying, drum and bass, bass and guitar, any combo is fine.

@gunryobassist Evan doesn't have to sing in order for to be considered as good as the other two, when I say band I guess I meant guitar and drummer, not singer. I prefer instrumental music honestly. Jonas hellborg for one, has many albums of bass, drums and guitar, now, he didn't do a pure bass album and thats fine but why when the guitarist your with is shawn lane, the single greatest guitar player who has ever lived. Why shut him down just to play a bass album?

@DjentRules Evan and Tosin were already in a band together... They were called Reflux. They came out with an album called The Illusion of Democracy in like 2004.

@DjentRules True, but if you've heard a lot of the other stuff Tosin is a part of, T.R.A.M. for example, he seems to be very accommodating. Maybe not an AAL track, since that's Tosin's deal, but if they collaborated that'd be craaazy lol

@DjentRules But it's a guitar instrument focused band. They'd just always be clashing for the spotlight... I used to think the same thing as you, but then I actually thought about it and realized it probably wouldn't work.
