The Ierimonti Gallery reconstructs an historical actions route and presents it in the first Milanese solo show by the
American artist.
From the perception of the human and body feelings, in the eighties Acconci reaches the conciousness of the action in
the public space. From then, he projects portable architectures for homeless, parts of museums, twisted walls,
deconstructed galleries, interchangeable spaces. He doens't use his body anymore, but the one of all us. Thinking,
declares, 'to design freedom'.
