Stupid video is stupid, all Mercola is doing is spreading lies and ultimately hurting people.

What you have to understand is that all most pharmaceuticals are is bad synthetic versions of naturally occurring substances in plants. They never work as well nor do they work in harmony with your body as the natural versions - anything a synthetic drug can do nature already did better. Of course they try to convince you the opposite is true-that the only science in the world happens in a lab by men with white coats who are sponsored by the corporate state.

@spiltmilkimaging Sadly, in some cases there is indeed fraud to be found in the pharmaceutical industry.

However, you can't deny that aspirin works without the placebo effect, which is more than you can say about homeopathic remedies.

Actually dude, the evidence is everywhere but on TV. The TV happens to be naught more than a propaganda machine for private interests. If you really knew anything about scientific method or cancer you wouldn't be speaking up right now. Cure for cancer = stop causing it. Cure for cancer has been known since the 60's. Now if you're tired of being taken advantage of go do some real research. Peace

@Glamrma I'm very sorry to hear you have cancer. But I'm even sorrier to hear that you are buying into this woo. Please go study the scientific method. You'll see why evidence-based medicine is your best bet. It isn't a guarantee but it's better than anything else out there. Is there a chance that it could make things worse? Sure, just like everything else in life. But the chance that it can make things better is much much higher. It's your choice, but make sure its a truly informed one.

@icemachine79 I don't agree. I have a slow growing cancer and the fact that I didn't allow conventional medicine doctors to radiate, chemo or cut me, I am still alive. I have lately become more proactive in research and there is a lot of credible evidence out there of people who have been helped. Dr. Dale Peterson for one. On the flip side a family member lost his life because he followed his doctor's advice. He died due to poly-pharmacy. Google Marcia Angell, M.D. and look for her video

@Nyguenify The evidence doesn't exist beyond anecdotes. There hasn't been one proper study to show that any alternative therapy helped anyone to get better. There have been studies that purported to show a correlation but they have never proved that homeopathy (or any of the other pseudo-scientific treatments) was the cause of improvement. The people that got better might as well have rubbed the back of a magic toad or bathed in a tub full of jello as long as they BELIEVED it would cure them.
