  • So, to Get Rid of Carpenter Ants: find where they are and spray them with the right product... THANKS for the help. LOL!

  • @simbouboubou no but it is possible for them to reside inside a wooden shelf. they like wet wood and tend to either drill through it or reside inside of it. they can also live inside attics, the wooden part of a foundation and support beams, but if you feed them and follow the trail you can atleast find a satalite nest, where they are coming in, or where the master hive/nest is.

  • Use double sided tape around bed legs to keep them from crawling up to kiss you goodnight. Works great and lasts about a year.

  • Bastards got me sleepin like a crackhead. I mean I'm constantly checking my surroundings and I sleep with my shirt off because of fear of one crawling in it. Awesome nights resulting in awesome blood shot eyes and serious lack of sleep. I love em ^_^

  • Following trails of ants at night? nonsense. The place where they get inside doesnt mean that its where the nest is located. Carpenter ants tend to dig their homes in a piece of wood that has been soften by humidity. Water infiltration or regular humidity buildup year after year.

    You need a specialized pro.

If you lift a boulder and you see carpenter ants, its because they have a nest in a tree root near the boulder. No such thing as carpenter ants nesting in dirt.

    Wrong information is wrong

  • @l0ltoe Try to locate where there are the most in your house. If you only saw one yet, you'll need to wait to see more. You can USUALLY* rule out bathrooms and kitchen because that's where they will get water/proteins. With that in mind, try to think where you saw them except bathrooms/kitchen. That's usually where they are. If some of the ants have wings, you probably have more than one nest. Also, 90% of the time they stay under window/door frames. That's where you need to put poison.

  • I found one on my bed today, does that means there I'd a colony near? Please reply

  • @TANGOFIVE For the earwigs dig a little hole in the ground and put a cup or something in the ground and fill it with cooking oil and put the soil up to it so they will walk and fall in and they wont be able to get up because of the thick oil

  • I hate these little fuckers

  • Orange Guard Home Pest Control works great on carpenter ants!
