Definitely improved technique. The voice freakin CHANGES when it hits higher notes, not just goes all squeaky like the previous Vocaloid's.
This low voice sounds a hell lot like the real deal. Speaking of which, aside from Piko, Clear also went pro, what about a Clearoid? Would be freakin' awesome, we need more ballad Vocaloid songs. AND VOCALOIDS WITH LOW VOICES DAMNIT.

You know what I am SICK and tired of? People on the internet calling Piko the Vocaloid version of Bieber. IF YOU WANT YOUR MANRY LOW VOICES SO BADLY, GO FAP TO KAITO OR SOMETHING. If you hate Piko's voice so much, just don't watch his damn songs!
Also, you don't HAVE to be a creepy pedophile to like him sounding like a trap. Just throwing that out there. :\ I think this new voca is just plain awesome.
