  • That's true! He played everything by ear. This is from Wikipedia: "Garner is credited with having a superb memory of music. After attending a concert by the Russian classical pianist Emil Gilels, Garner returned to his apartment and was able to play a large portion of the performed music by recall."

  • Around minutes 3:56 like to like Bossa Nova also great musician

This music comme from the deep fron Errol ......

  • He was very happy to play all the time, nice guy....

  • Wow Wow Wow, this man just makes me want to smile, so many great jazz pianists but you've just got to love Errol !!!!

  • C'est pas la connaissance du solfège qui permet de jouer du piano.

Il y a avant tout la notion de technique pianistique.

Et Errol Garner possédait une technique hors norme.

  • I play the Piano and I read music. It would take me more than a hundred years of hard practice to come close to to playing like him,if Errroll Garner is not a genius I don't know what is .

  • A joyful genius at work!!!!

  • This gives me butterflies! Just gorgeous!!!

  • @74aspi Yep! Errol Garner played entirely by ear. Which makes him all the more amazing, and I didn't know you could top perfection haha

  • IL EST VRAI QU'IL NE CONNAISSAIT PAS LE SOLFEGE, IL COMPENSAIT PAR SA MEMOIRE HORS NORME.

  • I know Errol as the outstanding pianist from the end of 50th years and always in admiration from its execution! Thanks, My God, you have selected the most worthy!
