QUOTES

"I swear by Allah, the prophet's hand never touched the hand of a woman.
He would receive their oath of allegiance by spoken declaration.
I swear by Allah, the prophet, peace be upon him,
never took any vow from women except what Allah had ordered him to take and his palm never
touched the palm of a woman.
When he had taken their pledge, he would tell them he had taken their oath from them orally." ~Sahih Al Muslim Book on Government, No. 4602

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has said: "I do not shake hands with women." [Authenticated by Al-Albani]

and the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "No man is privately alone with a woman; but their third is Satan" [Reported by At-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani];

If a man and woman whom are not related cannot even be alone together why does touching them suddenly become okay?
Even a man who is interested in a sister for marriage has only the right to LOOK upon her face and her hands .

A handshake can even demonstrate if you are please, angry with someone , so its not exactly an emotionless act? is it?

  • robertgift has been blocked for being unneccesarily insulting.

An opinion can be an opinion, however we will not be allowing comments which outright disrespect our Prophet or Religion.

Voice your comments politely, calmly and in an intelligent fashion or the privilege will be taken from you.

This goes for both Muslims and Non Muslims.

You do not need to agree with me or my views, but I expect everyone to remain respectful of each other.

  • @SalamSeeker I don't know what Robert Gift wrote. IF he expressed HIS opinion and it's different from yours, then you should respect his opinion. Be careful not to confuse "respect" with "agreement." Further, if you find something "offensive" you might want to consider that other people might NOT find it offensive. In the words of the late Christopher Hitchins, when someone told him he was offensive, he replied, "I'm still waiting for you to make a point."

  • @taylorkeng If you read down the comments you will find that I have no problem with people disagreeing with what I have said in the video. I let him comment freely until lines were crossed and I've deleted the comments that I've seen as insulting.

I moderate Muslims and non Muslims equally, I won't let lines be crossed on either side.

  • sister I don't know what are you wanna about. do you know that woman are not even allowed to work in Islam. which mean if you don't go to work you don't need to shake hands. any way what ever ALLAH does not allow us to do. do not ask why because you don't know more than ALLAH, ALLAH knows best, ALLAH the only one know why He did not allow not to do this or that.

  • @architecturalabdabs Ha - it is isn't it - must have been getting too much into the spirit of youtube - millions of incredibly stupid comments - will behave from now, sorry

  • I can assure you my dear, if I shook your hand and saw your hair I would not ravish you. Even if I saw you naked, your body would be perfectly safe with me. Only perverts ravish women against their will, and being covered up like you are would not make any difference to them. I think you are a little bit afraid of the real world so you hide behind a lot of mumbo-jumbo.

  • @anniemaggie53 What an incredibly stupid comment, are you 14?

  • And I wouldn't shake your hand because you are ugly, sick and brainwashed.

  • Your faith is sick.

  • Auch aye - that's the Scots for yi

  • So later came the test, and i failed it. When this happened, do you think its appropiate for me to blame my friend for the helps he had gave me when doing homeworks? Should i blame my friends whenever i failed a test? Nope, i personally don't think that's wise. Sure, his help wasn't much, and i ended up not getting good score for the test, but, it was my own fault for not having done my best during the test and didn't take it seriously. After all, all he did was helping me to become better.

  • Lets give another example, let say a friend help me in my class, to do some homework. That friend helped me because he believed that friends take care of each other. "Sharing is caring", he said. I myself can just make sure i have good discipline and try to be an awesome student, but of course that doesn't mean i have to be selfish and not welcome help from fellow classmates. After all, who knows, my friend might just know that something which i don't.

  • @snizzlefrazzy i dont know why my replies dont end up stickin with your comment but somehow they are up there...i wish i can do something bout that....
