U.S. officials are divided over the recent violence in South Ossetia. The U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services hearing has cast Moscow as an aggressor but members of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs have sided with Russia. And making a decision will require from them assessing the U.S. foreign policy objectives, including those that have to do with Iran and the global war on terror.

  • US officials... LIARS, LIARS DAMN LIARS!!! pouring miilions of dollars to Georgia isnt suggesting something??? Liars, Liars!!!!!

  • Ron Paul is the best American politic, really, he deserves to become president

  • В конгрессе США говорят что Грузия первая открыла огонь, а не Россия :)

  • When you see the Georgian leader openly and blatantly telling a press conference that he is fighting towards '...stability in the region and a New World Order...' that right there tends to tell me whats going on.

That plus the oil interests in the area and a U.S. corporate pipeline - it's a no brainer.

The U.S. mainstream propagandaist media is going to completely turn this on its ear and skew it around to try and justify involvement.

Very sad, for the people of Ossetia.

  • they wanted freedom, I meant.

  • western media forgets to tell that in the beginning of 90s there was already war between georgia abkhazia and ossetia cause they wanted peace, but russia that time was too weak to help.

  • LOL ok man You are the authority on Killing Spies in other contries.

  • Dude, you know how much the dose of Polonium that Litvenenko ate costs? Over $3 million. How much does it take to pay someone to kill another in a way that makes it look like an accident? Like less than $30000. Yeah, so you are telling me that Putin would spend that much money to kill someone, yeah.... great logic there retard.

  • They also say that it was a Russian attack first, and said nothing of the 2000 Ossetians killed by Georgians. Dude they are making Russia look evil, so that Americans support America and not Russia.

  • I'm sorry. Why CNN (and other NATO-channels) used footage of Tskhinvali and said that this is Gori. If Gori was destroyed why they didn't show the truth about Gori? They only can use footage Tskhinvali. Where is logic?
