This is a review of the 1982 G.I. Joe MOBAT (Motorized Battle Tank). I will be comparing it to the 1983 version as well. It came with a driver, Steeler, the Tank Commander.

  • I just got this yesterday. How much did this cost back in the 80s?

  • @skabcat242 Back in the 80's it averaged about $20 at department stores like Sears. It might have been a few dollars cheaper at places like KMart though.

  • 1982 G.I.JOE MOTORIZED MOBAT TANK how much is it wort without box

  • @stickitupyourasteric The MOBAT goes for +/-$20 by itself. The figure adds another $25 because he's hard to find complete.

  • another great review!! thanks kevin!! did you go to joe-con?

  • @MrMpala69conv Thanks for viewing! I couldn't go because my weekends are pretty busy, but I'm trying to free some time for the CanCon in August.

  • I'm really loving your reviews. Since I collect superhero, Transformers, and Star Wars, a lot of those reviews seem to be fast and quick for the ADHD generation! I never had one as a kid, didn't want to spring for the Target set, but I have a BBI woodland camo Bradley as a newer MOBAT for my 25th Steeler. I got saddled with a POS M2 in the service but still have a soft spot for the old piece of junk! Ah, memories, thinner armor than my car, stalling engine, poor viability! The M2 had it all

  • Now thats some vintage stuff. In 1982 i was 3 years old lolz...

  • I had the 82 version, got it for christmas took it out side and ran it through a mud puddle my brother said "your gonna ruin it" and I replied "It's not gona hurt it It's a Tank!" made it all the way through and froze up about six inches later. never ran again.

  • i like your passion for these its a great hobby

  • I like the way you reviewed it

  • @formbx257 Just bought the target 25 version :) ( 1st joe in 15 years ) ,
