It was twelve years ago this month that the "old barn" was imploded. Just before sundown on Saturday, February 27th, 1999 that FOX2 broadcast the momentous event. They even placed a camera INSIDE The Arena to get a shot what it looked like to the legions of rats, cockroaches and pigeons that met their maker that chilly afternoon.

At Texas Stadium, they screwed up and put the 360 degree rotating camera in the path of a falling beam, knocking it out. This camera, instead, stayed up the entire implosion. Nice view from inside.
