@Seidelino Try Deftones, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Periphery, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, BTBAM, Tool, Steve Vai, Les Claypool Frog Brigade, The Mars Volta, Unexpect, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, and Meshuggah.
There's plenty of good pop/alt/metal music out there, you just have to look around.

@Seidelino Try listening to alternative or indie, there are literally thousands of bands that sound "really unique".

I fully enjoy the range of his voice. I mean, he is brilliant not only in his ability to write, but the way he uses his natural skills.

Why are there not more bands like FTM and SOAD... all this modern poprock sounds all the same to me. This music is really unique... i want more from it
