Them TT412 cabs are fucking amazing. I've got a custom cab loaded with Celestion G12Ts that don't sound half as good as the Laney TT cab.

IMO the Gh (one channel) and VH (two channel) series sound more natural. No doubt one of the best sounding, amazingly selective amps you can get. And very, very underrated due to the fact that Laney is making all these shitty budget amps that most peaple know.

Man that sound is perfect for what I want, I been trying to find a good amp that has a more "Oldschool metal" sound yet has tons of gain. I think Ive found the perfect amp now!!! awesome riff by the way!

Try them both out for yourself. I have the TT50 and I think it does the br00talz pretty well, despite being a bit fizzy.

Hi man! great playing and great tone! I have a question for you. I actually play trough a H&K Switchblade. Which amp between the Switch and the TT has the best hi gain distortion? (I use also a 7 strings guitar).

Hi, thanks! I haven't played a H&K Switchblade so I can't tell which one has the best high gain distortion, but I assume that TT and Switchblade will have pretty different sound. If you have any chance to hear TT100/50H live it would be best. To my ears TT has specific voicing and character.

Do you happen to remember your settings? Or were you running the amp dry (no effects)?
I just bought this amp today (it's little brother, the Laney TT50). Can't get a sound like this.

Congratulations for your new amp :) Yes, I'm running the amp absolutely dry - just guitar>cable>amp. Sorry, but I don't remember the exact settings for this video. The cab is TT412A with Celestion Vintage 30 and master volume is around 3-4 which brings power amp saturation. Maybe the settings from "Laney TT100H vs GH50L" can help you a little bit.

It's a quick improvisation just to test the sound with a little bit power amp saturation in an apartment - pretty LOUD, but didn't have the patience to hear amp's voice. Apologies to the neighbours!
