im not knocking them, i just think there far to expensive,i would like to see more of these about on the roads rather than cars, but at them prices it will never happen, so as far as just for fun goes,well i could thinking of much cheaper ways to have fun.

You are right, but things are always expensive when they are new, we will rely on pioneers to take them onto the streets and then we will keep striving to improve and reduce the price. The more we sell the cheaper they will get! Mind you with the price of fuels, starts to get more viable. Don't have to do many journeys on a Whike for it to start earning back its cost. Thanks for your input though, its always good to hear peoples opinions.

A new Laser costs €5000, one of the most popular one man sailing boats in the world, so why not €3500 for a one man road sailer? They bot share a monocoque shell and a sail, but the laser is much simpler.

@whikebv dont care if it cost's 5million to set up a whike for production,there still too expensive, im sure more would sell if they was much cheaper and you still make profit.as you 'd sell more.?

anything green is just mental in price for some reason,its like the windmills over in the uk for electricity suppose to be cheap electric for everyone yet they have just put the prices up by 16%

@sidvicious020279 Unfortunately, small companies like us simply cant make products as cheaply as the huge multinational companies, they have huge economies of scale. The Whike is hand welded in Holland, not at all cheap. This does however mean that it is of the best quality. We do wish we could charge £500 for each one!

As for the Windmills, Im sure if we had more of them we would have cheaper electricity right now, the wind doesn't get more expensive but Oil, and Nuclear power does!

Even a regular road bike at ultegra componentry level costs $2500+ usually so considering the quality level I think this price is reasonable. Probably it could be made with much lower level components and frame and sail for $1000 or so ?

@sidvicious020279 Its 3500 Euros, not pounds, and that includes the VAT. Sure it is expensive, but consider the cost of a car. Comparing it to a standard bike is rediculous its not a standard bike. It should be compared to the cost of a small sailing boat.. I agree that it is expensive, but it couldnt be under $1000 US.

The best design i've seen and UK road legal which is saying something, but 3,500quid I think i'll stick to the electric bike concept, cheers.
