    I'm sure it's happy with it's life. Most animals happiness comes from survival and not from freedom, and as long as it is feed and taken care of... It'll be happy.

    Besides he seems to be having fun with what he's doing. Many intelligent animals enjoy practicing with there masters and showing it off, especially when they are rewarded for it, which it is.

    Besides I'm sure it doesn't live in a tiny cage. It probably has a very spacey containment area like what you'll find in most large zoos.

    All of these "animals should be wild" assholes are sappy idealized fools who think nature is all beautiful landscapes. Nature is about conflict, predators, starvation, and need. I am sure these walruses would trade "freedom" for their pampered safe existence every time.

    The animal is just fine... Seriously... Look at it.

    He is not like a Circus Elephant or anything like that. Most very social animals with near human level consciousness would go for freedom over survival. A walrus does possess some of these qualities, but most animal containment centers usually place these kinds of animals in large cells with multiple organisms of the same species to counter this. A walrus is capable of suicide if it's depressed, but as far as I'm concerned, this one has not.

    Well I personally got sad while watching this. You might have a point there but I think the freedom of the animal is the real thing, not all the prizes and fun in the world can be compared.
