Great Job Man.... Now, if you can only show us how to make a foam cutter or wire loop for making round or semi circle cuts that will get into places where this type cutter cant get into.

can you explain the power a little more to me...most that i have seen want you to use like a train type power supply, are you saying you just used a cord from an answering machine with no regulator?

@ayres390 - The supply is a fixed voltage and as long as the numbers work out for wattage you are fine. The reason for the variable supplies you see on other systems is to control cut speed for different types and thicknesses of foam.

I'm wondering if you attach the electrical wire right to the eyelet or to the wire itself? If it's to the wire how did you attach them?

@MycobraII, To the eyelets. The wire is threaded through the eyelets and tied off to itself at the bottom and wrapped around the screw at the top. This way I can easily adjust the tension on the wire as needed.

Not really, but you will get burned so keep your fingers away for the wire.
